Critics have mocked the coronavirus vaccination timeline laid out by President Biden Thursday night, with everyone from pundits to satirical website The Onion chiming in on his stated goal of a return to small social gatherings with close family by Independence Day."If every willing person in America is vaccinated for #COVID19 by May, as POTUS has said, why put our lives on hold till July the 4th?"
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, wrote Friday on Twitter.
Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., echoed his statement.
"If you’re waiting for permission from the chief executive to celebrate Independence Day with your family, you clearly don’t grasp the concept of Independence," Massie wrote on Twitter.

Paranoid bullshit. Biden never said you need his permission. That's your idiotic takeaway.

Here's the quote:

"If we do this together, by 4 July, there is a good chance you, your family and friends can get together in your backyard or in your neighbourhood [sic] and have a cookout or a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day."

He uses weasel word phrases such as "If we do this together" and "there is a good chance". These are conditions so that he can weasel out if we the sheeple don't make his smoke and mirror metrics for success then he can blame us for his failure.

The word CAN is what implies his high and mighty granting of permission for us to live our lives.

The best pare, however, is that Biden is fully contradicted by the CDC that has said if you're fully vaccinated you can do whatever you want with other fully vaccinated people.
