An allegedly conservative group riots for a few hours and the entire capitol goes on permanent lock down??

Too bad Trump's mob disgraced our democracy so much that it came to this. In the few hours the conservative group rioted as you stated, they killed how many people?

I don't remember the count of those who died. I know there was one woman who was shot inside the Capitol building. There were a few more outside.

I also said "allegedly". I am not 100% convinced they were conservatives. The leader of the group tweeted that he hated Trump and Biden.

Seeing just how corrupt our government, the Democrats and far too many Republicans have become I would not at all be surprised if it ever came out that the entire riot was orchestrated by the Democrats just so they could try to impeach Trump again. They clearly tried to hide the video of his speech calling for calm so that you wouldn't know what he said. Schumer and Pelosi are more petty than a 2 year old.

Of course I have no way of proving that, but I would not be surprised.

What is happening now is just political theater. They put up the fence and called out the National Guard for show.

The right are not the violent ones in this country. We never have been.

It has always been the left. Leftists even bombed the Capitol Building in the 60's. Leftists by far commit most of the mass murders in this country. Democrats have gotten us into all of the wars starting with the Civil War with the exception of the current Middle-East stuff that the Bush's started. But even so, when Obama was running for president he campaigned that he would bring every US soldier home within a year. What did Obama do? He sent more troops into more hot spots than Bush did. Obama got more US soldiers killed in his first term than Bush did in the 6 years of the Gulf War. You guys put Cindy Sheehan in the news to protest the war, practically every day, while Bush was president. Once Obama was elected you threw her off a cliff.

Biden gets elected and what is his first order of business? Bombing Syria. Trump wouldn't have done that.

I wouldn't have put up a fence in the first place. They only time I would have called the National Guard would have been the day of the riots and only if the police could not resolve the matter.

It is not the right the government has to worry about. All of the violence comes from the left.

How can you blame that violence on the left? You say "allegedly" like they weren't carrying a bunch of Trump flags. That day showed them that they weren't ready for something like that the Fence is a precautionary measure to make sure it doesn't happen again. I'm not saying I think there will be another attack but there has been some speculation that another attack was coming don't they have a right to prepare for that? It's just a matter of being safe rather than sorry. And as long as there are conflicting views there will always be violence from the left or right to say "All" violence comes from the left just isn't true.

Where there you go. They were carrying Trump flags so that proves 100% that these were Trump supporters. Because it is utterly impossible for anyone but a Trump supporter to carry a Trump flag.

Look, I have no way of knowing one way or another who those people were. The very well could be Trump supporters. I did read a tweet from a guy who claims to be the leader of that group and he said that he hated Biden AND Trump. So it could be some leftist radicals who don't think Biden is radical enough.

If you watch TV shows and movies you think that the only violence committed in this country are conservatives. If you pay attention to the news you realize that it is extremely rare for conservatives to do anything violent.

The mass murder that have been committed since and including Columbine have been committed by 1 of 3 types of people. Leftists (radical or otherwise), apolitical psychopaths and Muslims. The largest number of those 3 groups is leftists.

The only one where I could not find out any political affiliation was the Las Vegas shooter. But his friends were Democrats and he was shooting up a country music concert. It is a known fact that majority of country music fans are conservative. So it would make sense that some psycho Democrat was having a shoot spree on conservatives.

Sometimes you have to read all the way to the end of the story to find out their political affiliation.

I am not say that all Democrats are violent. The only ones doing this are psychopaths or people taking psychotropic drugs.

But the media has done an exceptional job of convincing the public that conservatives are the violent ones. Except we're not trying to take over the government and impose Socialism or Communism on the world. We're more interested in freedom for all and taking care of our families.

Here's the problem with your argument.

Why would the Left attack the Capitol if they had just won the House, Senate, and Presidency? It's clear that Trump was behind the attack and that he instigated the violence. They have already arrested several Proud Boys that seemed to have been leaders. I wouldn't just trust the first tweet I read. (But I don't have Twitter so I'll just leave that part out of the equation for sake of argument) We are not trying to impose Socialism or Communism your confusing those two things for "Democratic Socialism" which is where large corporations have less power in the economy and it's fairer for average people meaningless poverty and homelessness. Why do you care if they have a fence up anyway?

I don't have Twitter either. They don't like my kind of people. I saw the tweet in an article I read. I've forgotten the guys name but I remember him being bewildered at why people were calling him a conservative when he hated Trump as well as Biden. That sounds more like a radical leftist, like Antifa. I am not saying he is with Antifa but even Antifa has said prior to the election that they don't care if Biden wins or not, they are still going to terrorist people.

It wasn't the Proud Boys, it was the Boogaloo Bois. The Proud Boys tried to protect people and businesses from Antifa and BLM and got labeled as racists because of that. The Boogaloo Bois were the ones who were blamed for attacking the Capitol Building.

Vladimir Lenin called himself a "Democratic Socialist" and in his first year of rule the Soviet Union nearly starved to death. I really do not care what adjective you put in from of Socialism, the results are always the same. It is an utter lack of understanding of the economy. You think that putting controls on business is "fairer" to people? What happens when you put controls on businesses? People lose their jobs because businesses can no longer afford to comply with those restrictions AND maintain a full staff. So your "fairness" backfires. And when businesses contract there fewer people working. Fewer people working means they cannot buy as much or anything. This sets up a downward spiral in the economy.

More people out of work creates more homelessness. It is not very hard to show you examples of that. Look at California. I grew up in California, I lived most of my life there. My wife and I moved just over 20 years ago. I see pictures now of homelessness all over the state. I am shocked when I see it. This was caused by Democrats who think that the way to prosperity is through heavy regulation and taxation.

Socialism, Communism, Nazism, Fascism are all the same thing. Communism, Nazism and Fascism are built on the foundation of Socialism. Socialism is corrupt to the core. It promises all sorts of great things that will solve all or most of mankind's problem but look around. No Socialist nation has ever lived up to even close to it's promises. The fact is Socialism creates those problems they claim to solve. Socialism creates abject poverty.

You just cannot take that much power from the individual and give it to the government and ever expect anything different. There is no "we'll get it right this time".
