Exactly. I never even HEARD of those books before all of this outrage began. I noticed that those books are boing sold at exorbitant prices on Amazon. I also heard (not sure if it's true, but it wouldn't surprise me) that people are going to book stores and buying copies of those books.

The irony is, I don't much like Dr. Seuss, but McElligot's Pool was one of the titles I enjoyed. That said, there are a million wonderful books to read that won't expose preschoolers to harmful ethnic stereotypes. The Snowy Day is almost as old as Seuss and still delightful.
