If the people of Texas don’t like it, they are free to move to a more restrictive state, like California.

I love it when liberals on this site say stuff like, “You don’t live in New York so you don’t have a say if Cuomo should be impeached!” But then they want to lecture to Texans about the decisions that their governor is making.

According to the Bing Covid19 Tracker, Texas had 2,689,417 cases. New York had 1,679,124 cases.
Texas had over a million more cases! So your statement that New York had more cases is completely false.

I meant right now Texas has lower covid cases compared to New York

So why do you think Texas had a million more cases? New York did something right - like wearing masks!

On December 1, 2020, the World Health Organization published an articled titled "Mask use in the context of COVID-19" and in the article it says that there is only limited and inconsistent on the effectiveness of masks in community settings, there were trials on the effectiveness of masks but the trials show very virtually no difference of the spread of the virus in community settings between masked people and maskless people. Also when you compare California to Florida you will see that total covid cases in California is about 3.59 million and in Florida it's about 1.94 million.

I don't trust Florida's Covid numbers. DeSantis fudged them!

Public health units are claiming that there are no cases of the flu in these times of covid, don't you think maybe the numbers of covid and flu cases are fudged and the number of covid cases is over inflated because the government is in accurately counting influenza cases as covid.

Flu cases are down because intelligent people are wearing masks.

You are really showing cognitive dissonance, first you argue covid cases are up because people didn't wear masks, then when I point out that government are reporting flu cases are supposedly gone in the same places that have high covid cases, your logic is really contradictory and you are trying push some narrative that you just made up that Ron DeSantis is fudging the numbers yet you don't want to think public health units are fudging the numbers despite the data being rather suspicious. It seems you're only willing to criticize government when it's an attempt to smear anyone who has a dissenting opinion from the narratives you believe.

It's really simple to understand - wearing masks lowers both Covid19 and flu cases. Twist and spin this reality anyway you want. Intelligent and sane people will keep wearing masks whether you like it or not.

Look who's talking, you're the one twisting and spinning it all you want just to suit your narratives. The public health unit are reporting both and increase in covid cases AND a decrease of flu cases in the exact same areas. When you look at high covid cases in those same areas you argue "people weren't wearing masks" but when you look at the low covid cases in those exact same areas you argue "people were wearing masks". Which one is it? It can't be both. I never twisted anything, I applied critical thought and even pointed that the WHO's publication "Mask use in the context of COVID-19" admits that there is only limited and inconsistent data on mask use in public spaces and the trials show virtually no difference between masked individuals and maskless individuals when it came to the spread of the virus in community settings. You keep twisting things in favor of your narratives, this is very arrogant and dishonest of you and you need to listen to the actual evidence rather than your biased narratives.

Mask doesn't stop flu
