There were those last summer who rioted over a discrete incident of gross injustice (pictured) and similar instances of police brutality. But they were not coordinated or directed by "Black Lives Matter," which is a non-violent political advocacy group. The BLM protests, of which there were many across the country last summer and into fall, were organized and peaceful.
Many right-wingers assume that because most of the rioters were black, that they're BLM, but that's not the case any more than it's fair to lump me as a white person in with the MAGA rioters.
Gotta draw these distinctions to have mature conversations.
