but i mean its e-sports is not really good either. In fact you cant even call it an esport it is that bad. Take valorant, for example. Right befor ethe first competition, they added Jett. There was not enough time to test it and make sure it was not balanced, so Riot just removed it until after the competition. Then you have Epic Games. They added planes, and also and extremely overpowered sword right before the tournament, making it completely unfair. Then they proceeded to add mechs to the next tournament. Fortnite was a good game, with a good concept, but they were taken down by a toxic community and its unbalaced additions right before tournaments. That is why most people moved to minecraft or valorant

what I dont understand is why so many people play fortnite, when valorant is basically fortnite without buildings, but with abilities

because its not as developed

not really, valorant is already more popular than fortnite, as twitch viewers playing valorant overtake twitch streamers playing fortnite. The reason fortnite is bad is because it is way too easy to win. Third person is much easier to use, as first person requires more aiming a crosshair placement, which means you need way more skill. The only thing that you would kind of need skill for is building, but you can easily learn how to build good in creative.
