There's no way that would happen. People born in Texas or from the South don't want taxes, want extremely low rates for electricity, etc., and don't want government regulation.

The bottom line is that the STATEWIDE weather conditions are UNPRECEDENTED. It's not a matter of "Well, PREVIOUSLY we came within 10 degrees." I lived in Houston 13 years and they got snow ONCE. They get THREE WEEKS of winter, when it gets down to the UPPER THIRTIES at night. Corpus Christi is about 125 miles SOUTH of Houston.
