Well good for AOC if that is true. That would be the only sane thing she has done while in office.

So what you are inferring is that AOC is doing more for Texas than Ted Cruz? Is that what you are saying?

Well first of all, I don't agree that this is the only good thing AOC has done while in office.

Also, I'm not even implying that AOC is doing more for Texas than Ted Cruz in general, why would she, she doesn't represent Texas. But in this particular case of the Winter Storm and the power outages, then yes perhaps she has done more than Ted Cruz. She acted quickly to get aid for Americans who need it, simple as that.

I don't live in Texas and I typically don't single out specific people to see what they are doing or not doing. Like I didn't know if AOC did anything to help Texans in this storm and power outage. I also don't know if Cruz has done anything similar either. For all I know AOC and Cruz might even be working together on this.

BUT (and this is a big BUT) it is always better when private organizations, either by contribution, supplies or actual on the premises help is always the best. When the government gets involved they do so by taking money by force from people not involved with the disaster. That is not charity, it is force.

This is just fund raising though donations that are then given to existing charities in Texas (at least 5 were mentioned), not directly connected to government.
