Yeah, they're usually so consumed with phony moral outrage, that they don't notice the red line beneath a mis-spelled word.
Since we're all prone to typos, I generally ignore them, with the exception being when someone makes one while pointing one out that someone else made, in an attempt to use pointing out the typo as an example of why they're smarter than the person who made the typo. (if that rambling makes any sense...)
