Technically the dems in MN are now talking about implementing a professional police force which doesn't seem like a bad idea. I feel we are a bit to lax on our requirements and hazy on what their purpose is and it leads to more problems than necessary.
"professional police force" should work as well as the "professional soldiers" - you know, like Blackwater and others that were sent into Iraq and Afghanistan after libs complained that we had too many U.S. soldiers there.
