2017 and 2018 were Republican Congress - sorta (only majority if include Libertarians & Rhinos). Libertarians do not negotiate so they get 100% of nothing passed & block all bills that are viewed as less than perfect. They cannot compromise. Rhinos wanted world influence at America’s cost. BUT the rank & file had 8 yrs to make a REAL plan and failed. Same with Obama care changes.
My biggest problem is that they didn’t even try. Even when the Dems know they are going to fail, they try. The 2 failed impeachment tries demonstrates that his tenacity. The Republicans just fold their cards without even trying. Shameful!
Dems knew they wouldn’t get a conviction. The whole point of the Senate trial was just a show to stir up more anger. Notice how much time they took presenting how terrible the attack on the Capitol was - something the defense never disputed. They used all the time they could trying to bash Trump while the defense lawyers presented the facts and took less than 3 hours to do so.
The Democrats aren’t there to do their job. They’re just there to get re-elected.
The Republicans who are upset with Biden’s Immigration Executive Orders are the very same Republicans that sat on their hands and refused to pass actual immigration laws.
