The Constitution Has Consequences

When the "consequences" become you taking it upon yourself to violate the constitutional rights of the person exercising their free speech, the "consequence" then becomes a crime. Americans do deserve protection from crime.

Except the point is freedom of speech has consequences if you chose to abuse it especially if abusing it causes the crimes Americans need protection from.

The mainstream media lies constantly- this is abuse of the first amendment, yet they never face any consequences for it. Trump actually spoke about this often (how dishonest the media is).

What's the difference between one person and a corporation?

Trump said the media outlets that disagreed with him were "fake" news. His goal had nothing to do with freedom of speech. His goal was mass confusion. Trump was only famous in the tabloids before the internet. Nobody listened to him when he was a game show host. What's the difference now?

But you do realize there is no difference between 1 person and a cooperation, they both have people and they both know what they are doing

According to citizens united corporations are their own entities. No people necessary. No people held accountable.

I disagree that they both know what they're doing.
