Yeah, so what an informant is: Someone that talks to the FBI about criminals. So say someone tries to join the Proud Boys and tries to get people to burn a building down. The informant would go to the FBI and tell them that. It doesn't mean he's good or bad. It means he gives information to the FBI.

The source is the FBI. And he was working with them so he didn’t have to do time for a case he caught. So he snitched on his own people that he committed crimes with so that they took the fall while he walked free. It’s not that confusing

Ise it for all that it is worth. Here is a hint. There an app called a search engine. I encourage you to find your favorite search engine, and do some reading for yourself. Make certain it is an independant search, and you read all sources. Make your own conclusion after reading.
