We don't support either the summer riots or the Capitol riot. We don't hate one and support the other. Violence is violence.

Thank you for saying that they are rioters, people get them confused with domestic terrorists. Speaking of domestic terrorists, what are BLM and ANTIFA going to burn down next, a school maybe, or perhaps a hospital, then again they might just stick to the small businesses.

Who ever said that? The only people who support rioters are liberals. Neither myself or anyone else I know, who is conservative, support the Capitol riots.

Not really. Dems support months of death and destruction caused by Antifa and BLM but Republicans by and large do not support the minutes of minor destruction to the Capitol building.

Conservatives have a history of leaving an event as clean or cleaner than when they arrived. Liberals have a long history of completely trashing a place and letting someone else clean up after them.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Daniel L. Cox, Mark Finchem, Terri Lynn Weaver, Derrick Evans, Paul Gosar, Andy Biggs and Mo Brooks come to mind . . . and Rudy and Junior . . . oh yeah, and the guy with his name on those flags who watched it on TV and didn't call in the Guard. And the people who support those people, I guess. Peaceful transfer of power? "We'll see what happens." Look around you, man . . . Republicans aren't Conservatives.

Okay so lets say that I had all the time in the world, then I could go look up each and every one of those names. Instead I work for a living. Someone has to work so the government can steal my money and waste it on funding studies of why people's hair turn grey under stress.

I looked up the first person, Marjorie Taylor Greene. She is a representative from Georgia. I suppose that being labeled a Q Anon supporter and not wearing a mask during the riots means that she supported the violence. Is that what you are saying? I didn't see anything where she came out in support of the violence.

Regardless I agree with you on this. Republicans are NOT Conservatives. The Republicans left the Conservative movement years ago. Before Reagan. The Republican party leadership were not Reagan supporters, neither were they Trump supporters. The leadership are liberals trying to push the party further and further to the left. That is why I left the Republican party years ago.

They are the right side of the Overton Window that keeps getting pushed further to the left by Democrats and the media.

Maybe if you checked sources that aren't CNN, you would at least be aware of that.

He also called in the national guard (since he's the only one that could) as soon as he was aware of the issue.

You know that phrase "as soon as he was aware of the issue" is kind of important, right?

So he finished his speech and was then made aware of what was happening. That's why his response was late.
