It's called freedom of speech. The Supreme Court has definitively ruled that all forms of expression, even hateful expression, must be allowed in a public space because that's our most sacred belief in this country.

There are definite distinctions between 'speech' and 'action', so the SC has in no way legitimized violence or aggressive action against anyone for their beliefs. Knowing this then, why should companies that marketed their services (Facebook, Twitter, IG, etc) be allowed to suppress certain views even if they are truly hateful and scummy? They can't have their cake (let's let the people of the world talk together!) and eat it too (we're going to cherry pick who gets to speak).

The United States allows people to hate the president, and say it openly, with no punishment, because that is our patriotic FREEDOM! There are still countries today (like North Korea, China, Russia, etc.) that if you say anything bad about the leader, they will throw you in jail, and maybe even execute you, for your beliefs! Our freedom of speech is wonderful!
