What reason did the "provider" Google give for shutting them down? Was it a legal reason such as child porn or other illegal content, or was it because they didn't like their speech? See if it was because of not liking them, then Google loses their section 230 protections and any time someone finds child porn on any of their sites all of google can be shut down and charged with accessory to a crime.

A tool used to find material is not an accessory to the crime in this case. Because Google has publicly denounced any such crimes and does not play host to any such thing. Instead, Google uses an algorithm to find content only by scanning the internet and bringing up results based on your search. This, being done through IP addresses and returning terms that you enter into the search bar that matches the website.
