I tried to explain that to my trump supporting friends (yes we get along). That if he had simply acted presidential concerning COVID he would have easily won. Makes you wonder how many of his own supporters he help kill because his ego get in the way. (Plus remember they were hoping it would only kill people in states that didn’t vote for him)

I have friends who ardently support Trump. My mother is a Trump supporter. I haven’t cut them out of my life because of their political beliefs. We agree to disagree.

many of his most loyal cult members still think covid is nothing to be worried about.

until they or a family member gets it. then its real. and important. but they still can't bother to wear a mask correctly.

Apparently sometimes they don't believe it even when they do get sick.
