Since when did wearing a mask (in the context of this specific disease) ever have anything to do with our health?

When building immunity to disease or virus, usually it is better to expose yourself a little to build immunity to that certain disease/virus. When wearing the mask, it weakens our immune system by blocking out (some) air particles that help build our immune system.

I know how immunization works. I'm not a politician.

"Since when did wearing a mask...ever have anything to do with our health?" - In short, I think that what GEN means is that politicians making us wear masks means that it has absolutely zero to do with health and everything to do with a) state and local officials getting a bit of power and liking it a lot and b) if they're making us wear masks then they're "doing something to fight the rona".

The kids born this year and the next years that this over reaction to a virus is infesting our society , are going to have some of the worse immune issues we have ever seen, kids will be dying from common colds and fevers because they are not being allowed to build their immune responses properly now.
