Fun fact: air molecules are smaller than viruses. Also, viruses travel by water droplets, which are larger than mask air pores and are naturally cohesive.

Now it is explained.

Dr Ted Noel was demonstrating the effect of different masks regarding aerosols, not droplets. There is difference between droplets and aerosols in size, the materials they pass thru and around and how long they stay in the air. The video you referenced appears to demonstrate the mechanics of droplets.

I find it disingenuous to state Dr Noel does not know how to properly wear a mask. I would say that a high percentage of the public in general does not properly wear a mask. The relevant portions of the video are how aerosols penetrate and leak around masks.

And I would say you're just doing mental gymnastics to try to justify not wearing a mask.

Wrong assumption.

Have you ever watched somebody outdoors exhale cigarette smoke? It dissipates in the air very quickly. How are you ever been in a room with very little outside air circulation where somebody is smoking. The smoke builds up.

As of May, 2020, the CDC basically said that Covid transmission is primarily aerosol and not by touching surfaces that droplets have landed on.

People need to know the truth. Masks offer minimal protection. It’s like playing Russian roulette. I believe a better strategy is indoor – outdoor air exchange.

Okay, seriously? You're comparing wearing a mask to Russian roulette? And also, you're cherry picking the CDC's information to do more mental gymnastics.

FYI
1. I wear a mask 100% of the time I’m at work, from before I walk into the door, until after I walk out the door, in a business which is open to the public.
2. I wear a mask 100% of the time in public when I’m in a store or business, per state requirements.
3. In December of this month I tested positive for COVID-19.

Just sayin’.

For what it's worth, I am sorry you got the coronavirus and hope you recover quickly. But I'd have significantly more sympathy if you weren't trying to spread around the suggestion that wearing a mask is useless to limit the spread of the virus.

Just sayin'.
