To be more accurate, Democrats always blame the most recently elected Republican President.

2017-the rest of time everything ls Trump's fault
2001-2016 everything is Bush Jr.'s fault
1989-2000 everything is Bush Sr.'s fault
1981-1988 everything is Reagen's fault
You get the picture

Didn’t republicans blame Obama during trump’s presidency?

Blame him for policies directly responsible for what happened? yes. What I'm trying to illustrate is that you blame republican presidents for LITERALLY EVERYTHING. No matter how little sense it makes.

One of the first things Trump did was repeal many of Obama's policies. You could also blame Reagan for most of the big issues with the US today. You're literally blaming Democrat presidents for everything bad that is happening.

You go ahead and blame orange man. I'll blame the parties actually responsible.
1 up, 3y
Since the orange turd's entire run and tenure was based on being nothing more than an anti Obama with a wall thrown in to keep your people out, no signed permission slip needed from you and especially you to assign blame.

Actually I liked Trump repealing Obama’s penalties, they’re unconstitutional

Who cares about what you think. What is your point. Breaking the rule of law is unconstitutional but you’re not complaining that Trump is doing that.

Yes I am, but in this particular conversation we were already discussing Obama, so that’s what I added. Stop assuming because I dislike Obama I must like Trump.

But why do you dislike Obama.

The ACA made healthcare premiums skyrocket, which had the opposite intended effect of creating a new class of uninsured Americans. It also included a penalty fine for whoever doesn’t insure, which is unconstitutional. The constitution gives us the right to engage or not engage in commerce, but that was forcing Americans to engage in commerce. And at the end of the day, the ACA was only dealing with the symptom of high healthcare costs, not tackling the root problem which is hospitals overcharge. Obama just rearranged taxes to meet the ridiculous prices instead of eliminating the middlemen which make aspirin for example $30 per pill.

The JCPOA was garbage. Sanctions lifted and 400 million dollars given to a radical theocracy hellbent on domination and spreading terrorism. As a result the JCPOA kickstarted a proxy conflict between US backed Israel and Iran backed Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, and other terrorist groups. Basically a new cold war.

Obama is just as corrupt as the average politician, maybe more despite claiming he’s 100% clean. The presidential salary is 400k per year, Obama was in office for 8 years with a starting net worth of 1.3 million and left office at 12.2 million. The constitution does not allow the president to profit from anywhere other than his presidential salary, which means he acquired 7.7 million dollars illegally, then successfully obscured on his tax returns exactly how he got it. On another occasion he made up a solar energy scheme called Solyndra that cost taxpayers 500 million but only went into bribes and kickbacks for his administration. He was also lobbied by hospitals which likely explains many of the issues with the ACA, which does nothing to force hospitals to share any revenue and gives them tax breaks.

Blaming Obama for what he did is not the same as blaming a successful president for something he didn't do.

Trump wasn’t successful at all

Trump created the most successful economy in recorded history, he created historic employment levels, was nominated for at last count 4 Nobel prizes, shut N. Korea up, overtook Russia and the middle east in oil exports which devastated Russia, just won a lawsuit requiring hospitals to publish their real prices for services giving people the chance to avoid being overcharged and by doing so is forcing hospitals to compete for patients by having to lower their prices. I could go on but if you ridiculously believe that Trump wasn't successful at all, I'm obviously talking to a wall.

Trump inherited the largest economy. He didn't create it. FDR did. Besides Trump took the US out of the paris agreement and repealed a lot of enviromental policies. He is sacrificing the entire world and his own people for "the economy". Oh yeah and the US hasn't overtaken "the middle east" or Russia at all in oil exports. Stil 6th. And the US isn't even in the top 15 net Oil exporters. And making hospitals "compete for patients"??? What does that mean. It's not a competition. He also raised taxes for the poor. We're all lucky he lost the 2020 election.
0 ups, 3y
No one said Trump created the largest economy in the world, he created the most successful economy in the history of the world, genius. Seeing how America isn't even close to being one of the largest polluters in the world, he was right for taking us out of the Paris Accord which would require America to pay for everyone else's pollution. Even the chairman of the U.N. publically admitted that the Parris Accord was specifically created to deliberately destroy capitalism in the west, which anyone with a grade school education could see looking at the cost. Furthermore, Trump didn't repeal a lot of environmental policies, he repealed a lot of redundant policies, which again, anyone with a grad school education would understand doing if not for saving taxpayer money. There is no reason you need different agencies doing the same exact inspections and charging people for it. Sorry, the U.S. has become the world's largest exporter of oil, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not true. Also, what don't you understand about hospitals competing for patients by having to publish their prices which would motivate them to lower their prices, is it a reading or comprehension thing? And no, Trump didn't raise taxes, he lowered them, that's why you paid less in taxes, get it, the less you pay into taxes the more you have in your pocket, that's how it works, it's not rocket science, once you move out of your mother's basement you will start to understand taxes a little better. As far as being lucky Trump lost the 2020 election goes, only someone who doesn't understand politics, economics, or socialism would say something so stupid, although most would not be dumb enough to publically admit it.

No, I'm saying we should not elect politicians to the highest office in the land who have proven to be incompetent failures for decades. Who could be that stupid? Also, there is no requirement that says a president has to be a politicain. In fact, one of the reasons Washington hates Trump is because he wasn't a politician, he wasn't corrupted like them and he made them all look bad because he outperformed them in every way. The joke is that morons actually believe we should have political failures run the country instead of actual qualified people who have proven themselves to be capable of creating jobs or running successful organizations.

He’s been in political office for 47 years, during which he befriended a radical southern supremacist, plagiarized almost all his speeches, opposed school integration so that his kids wouldn’t have to grow up in a “racial jungle”, instilled policies to lock up more criminals for petty offenses, and even tried running for president twice before but dropped out due to his racist comments. Any questions?

Who said he was? He did however incompetently serve in political office for 47 years though.
