Careful that your flags actually do violate our rules, otherwise they're more likely to be ignored and otherwise undermine your account's voting powers in the future.

This is a frustrating situation. People like Bluessol keep pushing the voter fraud thing, showing
a few instances of proof (arguably), while we are stressing no WIDESPREAD voter fraud. I've been trying to research it more so I can thoroughly debunk it. I don't want to come at them with a CNN article or something - I'm trying to look at politically-center sources. Do you have any articles/links you could show me?

It was around the time that Bluessol had demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of how debating works (he didn't think the rule about having evidence to support his claims applied to him) that I decided he was a troll and blocked him.

I still debate him and he's been civil with me (unlike Zaklog and timber1972).

CNN is politically center enough. Certainly moreso than whatever the hell he’s citing, if anything.

You could show him a Snopes or other fact-check article but he’ll dismiss that as Leftist, too.

You could find center-right publications like the WSJ or The Hill referring to Biden as President-elect, but not sure if any of them have done a thorough debunking.

I think it’s sufficient at this point to generally note that Trump got every recount he was entitled to, that all 50 states certified their election results, that Team Trump lost 50+ court cases and the couple they did win were on insignificant issues, that SCOTUS rejected the couple challenges that it handled 9-0, and that the Electoral College cast its votes making Biden the President-Elect and there is no constitutional procedure at this point to undo it.

You don’t owe Bluessol the time of day. He’ll never be convinced of anything, no matter what you do. That is the nature of conspiracists.

I think ImgFlip should ban the airing of the “Trump won” conspiracy at this point, since it’s dead as a doornail he lost, but I think it’s more likely they’ll permit it as long as those airing it don’t *explicitly* call for violence, even though that is Trump’s only real option now.

Why is the Weather Channel on there? Are hurricanes liberal?

If I was a weatherman, I'd find a way to take subtle political shots.

Thanx, good points. I go with near dead-center sources like The Hill and BBC a lot. Also, ImgFlip would call my meme of me shooting Zaklog with a Star Wars blaster - explicitly calling for violence - before they would do that on the main politics stream.

I kinda like the Associated Press myself.

dammit, I should've put kool-aid in place of the tea - I might post this one....

They really should be doing this over in the politics stream also. :-/

Every good rule merits an exception, and the exceptions I’d make are these:

1. You’re clearly talking about Trump running again and winning in 2024? Fine, I don’t care.
2. You wanna discuss the virtual impossibility of the House of Representatives rejecting the Electoral College vote, which in any other election would be just another procedural formality? Sure, whatever.

But that’s not what is really driving the conversation right now. Diehard alt-righties are upset that Trump hasn’t yet gone the route of imposing martial law, arming his supporters from the U.S. armory, etc. etc.

So, as a practical matter discussing a Trump “second term” however vaguely is an incitement to violence in most cases.
