& who said I was for socialist policies?
Welfare? Yes I do, I'm a product of it. But I think it should be an education driven situation where you get trained in a labor trade or go to college & get a degree. & get a job & then off of welfare. Legitamit disabilities excluded.
Getting off of welfare? Not very socialistic.
Public Medicine for those in need? Absolutely. Mandated Government order to purchase it? Hellllll no. Privatized medicine will always surpass government ran medicine.
Privatized medicine? That doesn't sound very socialistic either....
College Education/Trade school for those in need? Yes - and I think it should be mandatory as part of welfare, to get people off of welfare. Free? Nope. No way. Look to public school systems to see what's wrong with free college. Not so astronomically expensive ? Yes - it should be cheaper. I think there should be a serious reconsideration of tuitions - especially when colleges and universities make shit tons of money on college athletes that receive non of the influx of cash of those sales.
Well wait... That doesn't sound socialistic either. People on welfare getting educated and off of welfare? Again - not very socialistic.
Well what about Church and State - surely as a socialist I would think that the state should oversee and object to the church...right? Oh wait, nope. I wholly believe in a separation of church and state. Religious entities need to have the freedom to practice their religion & the state should keep out of that.
That's also not very socialistic....
Then it must be GUNS! That's where I am socialist right? I want the government to take your guns. Well - having never fired a gun or owned one... I can say that I will defend tooth nail and sword for your right to own guns.
Dang...another non socialist viewpoint.
Please tell me where a left wing socialist exists in the above political beliefs.
