Yeah, those indigenous Brazilians should stay happy eating bugs and leaches. 30 years ago we were told the Amazon Rain Forests would all be gone by now. Not even close. Bet you didn't know the dead vegetation in the Amazon produces more CO2 when it rots than all human activity in history.

Soy based rockets will get us to Mars much much sooner than beef rockets, or pork or even Chik'n. So what's it going to be? Rain forests or free trips to Mars? (This is all according to the World Economic Forum- they will end the consumption of meat by taking away our ability to buy it and send us to Mars, and we will be happy.

They are skitzo. It will take like 20x the resources to live on mars than it does to live on earth. The real answer is to terraform the planet first then setup colonies, but international treaties keep us from doing that.
