I promise you I'm aware of the counterarguments in great detail for this and many other things. But the particulars of this one, the nature of the explosions, etc., are overt to the point of intentionally sloppy.
We've been manufacturing car tanks and fuel systems to make them immune to explosions for decades. It takes a pretty severe impact just to even create a finite fire.
And this ignorance is exactly what people exploit to get away with things like that. It takes the penetrating mind to see implausible details and go beyond the reflexive superficial "explanation."
