right lol even in cars 3 million a year die and 1.35 mil are harmed and most are permanent injuries resulting in life long physical disabilities and rising every year for the last 2 decades. not even covid has that high of numbers of effected persons. yet you wont hear those stats on the news cuz the government will loos millions if not billions of tax income if they restrict who can drive to a safe parameter.

Actually in the US they charge the car and confiscate it. Then sell it for the proceeds. You have to pay lawyers and fees higher than the value of the car to get it back...

not in ohio, they charge you and impound the car as evidence but will release it after the court stuff. though it does usually cost more for the impound than the value of the vehicle so it just gets sold at auction. i got a couple cars from such instances where someone was tweeked out and crashed. or if it get totaled insurance buys you a new one and jacks up your rates.

oh yeah i run a shop fixing, modding and customizing cars and it throws everyone off but i to this day i refer to vehicles as 2 and a half ton death machine. i know all too well what they can do. i've been hit by over 30 cars on foot which broke my vertebra and doctors say i shouldnt even be able to walk and those cars werent going over 50. and tats just on foot imagine how bad it is if both cars are going 50 towards each other thats a 100 mph collision.

Yeah, my dad made sure I knew that's what they were when I first started driving, because yeah, they can kill people really easily.

i'm actually willing to believe it was the car's fault. correct me if i'm wrong, but is that a chevy? judging from what i can make out from the insignia. those vehicles are known to malfunction, being manufactured by the GM corporation. i wouldn't be surprised if a GM vehicle's break pads malfunctioned and slammed into any supporter for gun control, regardless of the driver's will to commit vehicular homicide or not

i actually like gm and sure even being a chevy man i will admit they do break more often if you constantly stress them but they are typically cheaper, easier and faster to repair and replace parts than most others. thats why ford is a giant cuz they make most of their stuff way more complex than it need to be or make it where you have to buy a $300 special tool to change a spark plug or risk breaking it off in the head. and ford mechanics typically make 2-5x what other mechanics make. obviously excluding exotic/ luxury models ie cadilac, lambo, ferrari, lincoln ect.

Actually the anti gun argument is that in the US guns can be accessed easily by crazy people not that the guns kill by themselves. The argument was never ban all guns. The argument is set up a system in which people with bad intentions don't have access to guns.

thats actually one of the myths. most places you buy guns from hire people person people and they do have the right to refuse sale to someone "sketchy" and if you arent honorably discharched or already have passed an fbi backround check you cant walk out with it that day regardless. the stupid laws they are making are the nit pick stuff and mag sizes. and more than 50 %of the voters making changes dont know the difference between semi auto, burst and believe fully semi auto is a real thing. guns are not easy to get unless you've proven your not crazy to the feds and passed a training and safety course. i am a vet so i can go in and walk out with an ak or ar15 but only cuz i already sold my soul, done about 6 months of training hundreds to thousands of hours of shooting and was in for 8 years all under the federal governments' eyes. and yet even i am not allowed to own a fully auto. though i dont mind since i never used my full auto selector and even on the 50 cal and mark 19 i never held it down. short controlled bursts is the only way to go. but only being allowed to own a 12g double barrel or only 9 round mags is flat out dumb and anyone who thinks its a good idea has never shot an ar15 and double barrel in the same day or likely at all. they are just pulling at straws trying to take away our 2nd amendment one minor change at a time. give the snowflakes an inch and they'll even take your baby 22.
