It was a high-turnout election on both sides because everyone’s fed up and miserable this year.
I can question whether Trump actually got 73 million (actually, 74+ million) votes having presided over the most disastrous 4 years in modern times, but it’s irrelevant. I can question my fellow citizens’ judgment, I can whine about the polls being wrong, but I have no evidence to dispute Trump got those votes.
And neither do Republicans when talking about Biden.
If Democrats were capable of rigging the election, don’t you think they would have fixed more races down-ballot? Instead Dems lost House seats, likely failed to win the Senate and failed to take any number of state legislatures.
Massive Democratic fundraising and spending failed to translate into votes at the end of the day
Remove Trump from the equation and Republicans did quite well this cycle.
Better luck next time. It’s how our democracy works.
