The fixation on the intimate details of a consensual relationship Harris had 25 years ago for only a year or so is deeply weird. There’s no evidence the relationship was entered into on a quid pro quo basis, she ever needed that dude’s help, or indeed received his help. Politically minded people travel in the same circles and sometimes hit it off like human beings in any other industry.

In fact the dude was caught in a scandal later. So if anything, her past association with him should have ***damaged*** her political career. Yet her star continued to rise.

Could it be because she’s a talented and smart and hardworking woman who has a gift for politics?

Do we have any evidence she systematically entered into relationships with other male politicians on a transactional basis at every step of her career? I have heard of none. Just this one dude from 25 years ago. You simply cannot draw a line from a sexual relationship with a disgraced politician from 25 years ago to ascending to become Vice-President.

But since you judge your leaders on this metric — and not being sexist, would apply the same standards to men — I would encourage you to do some digging on Trump’s sexual history and see what you find.

If I didn’t change your mind, and you didn’t go looking into Trump’s own sordid sexual past and find many reasons to disqualify him on that basis, then just admit you’re a rank right-wing partisan and a sexist.

Or, continue to deny that reality. Those are your options.

Honestly, I disagree with this -- as a Republican. As much as I hate Harris, I disagree that she is or has been promicuous. However, she is a lying, scandalous, anti-Israel person that I will never share views with.
