"Russiagate" was about something else: The extent to which Russia interfered in the '16 election. Mueller's investigation was tasked to investigate that, not overturn an election.

The investigation was not primarily about Trump. It was about Russian interference, plain and simple. A fact quickly lost on the partisan media of both sides.
