to me, if a president is not perfect, it's not good.

1. He was a war criminal who funded death squads and terrorists in the Americas and in the Middle East

2. His trickle down economics was a disaster that widened economic equality.

3. He ignored the AIDS crisis

4. He was a racist

5. He supported gun control (as a conservative btw) because black people were using them

I don't care whether he was nice, charismatic or had decorum. His policies were disastrous for the US and the world.

While those are legit criticism, he worked closely and hard to bring down the U.S.S.R. That he rallied the West against Gorbachev is undeniable.
