Stormtroopers are the clones until the rebels destroyed Kamino's cloning facilities and they relied on recruitment and volunteer. Of course, that is Star Wars facts, I don't consider anything from Disney canonical.

You know they keep changing the facts on Wookiepedia. That's why I don't really follow these fictional things. Way back it was very clear that in the beginning of the rebellion, they targeted Kamino cloning facilities to disrupt the Empire's ability to make these clone soldiers. Now they revised it to compliment all the extra cartoons and movies etc... saying it was because of their accelerated aging, the Empire is the one who shut down those facilities.

But strictly speaking, I don't consider anything outside the movie and some of the earlier video games such as Empire at War/Galactic Battleground as canonical. I mean, even the story arc in Empire at War contradicts some of the movie scenes. So generally speaking the 1st 6 films only. Rogue One was one complete mess.

I've always disliked Rogue One so thank you for being the only person I've known that doesn't like it either!

I hate to say it because people will go into that whole Star Trek vs Star Wars thing, but I find Star Trek does a far better job in their timeline history than Star Wars, excluding the Star Trek reboot of course. I think a big part of it is because they expanded their universe a lot better and introduce more characters. Picard series, they meticulously dated and included every little detail from other series such as the assimilation of the Sikarians to include the spacial projector technology.

I just find it silly that every Star Wars series, games, etc... all surround the same few characters. New character introduced are often overshadowed by recycling old ones. I mean, seriously, it feels like Obiwan is in every conflict, every story, and Boba Fett is like the only mercenary out there and every single secret op with the rebels involved Han Solo. That was the biggest disappointment in EAW b/c in the movie, it felt like he really did just show up the first time at Yavin b/c he didn't want to get involved with the rebellion.

Mandalorian is very promising series and I hope they won't suddenly introduce freaking Han Solo again or something, I'm sure in a whole universe there are other smugglers.
