At least you're doing your part. If people fall deathly ill because of your coworker's negligence, you won't be responsible in any way, and I for one appreciate that.

Before I went back to work, I assumed it was a few anti-maskers who weren't cooperating. No, on the bus to work, people are just too lazy to wear their masks correctly. At work we're supposed to distance, but the average space is 4ft, closer if in active conversation.
I don't even believe this shit is necessary, but it is frustrating to see people, who preach social distancing, not follow the rules while I do. I mean, yeah, it's annoying, but it's not that hard. And if playing along means life can continue, I'm game.

Agreed. I'm not a big supporter of wearing masks, but I do it, and in no small part it's because I agree conceptually with what thesis said in his post. Yes thesis, that does happen... probably more than I'd want to admit!

So when I see others not doing wearing masks, particularly where I work, and the company does nothing other than talk talk talk about it, I get pissed off.

When I see my governor, the hubristic Gavin Nussolini, flaunt his own rules, and then offer a half-assed insincere apology, I get pissed off.

When I see an elite ruling class (that's right Nervous Nancy, I'm talking about you!) that thinks they're better than we average citizens, and above following the rules they force us to follow, I get pissed off.

One of my co-workers had a friendsgiving, with at least 10 furloughed co-workers and she's posting group pictures of them unmasked and not socially distances. She's one of those that talks the most about the importance of covid safety measures at work.

If social distancing and masks are actually important, we're all going to die.
(Hyperbole, but seriously, no one seems to be able to follow the rules)
