They're still incapable of comprehending the orange man can and did lose.

Instead of kissing his ass they should be publicly condemning him for his Rona denial that has cost him an election he could easily have won. The entire country is going down to Rona by Jan 1st. Just look at the numbers. This is a disaster and what is he doing? Tweeting the election was rigged. History will not be kind to the worst Prez in modern history.

Indeed. But what got drump elected was here long before and will remain here for decades to come.

I agree. Everyone in America is angry and for good reason. The greatest transfer of wealth in world history that began in the early 70's is still growing, wiping out the middle class. Those in power are very good at lying/deflecting the cause and blame away from them and keeping the masses divided.

Personally I believe our lack of a common enemy like the USSR has made us turn against eachother once again. Our biggest scar still is the Civil War.
We're still seeing people denying it was about slavery. They hide behind "state rights".
The GOP may claim whatever but they have the KKK, the neo-nazis, proud boys, etc...on their side.
Drump came in, saw the rising anger of radical right-wing because we had a black president and fueled it with the birther issue. His retweeting of a clip of some old, white guy shouting 'white power' was one of his last antics but he knows where the divide in our nation really is.

Liberals and conservatives were at each others' throats long before the end of the Cold War. Pretty much the entirety of the 1960's was the exact same fight we're having now.

Probably because the Vietnam war was fought by poor kids...

Partly, but there was a lot more than that going on! I know you know that because that's exactly why your screenname is what it is.

That's fine. That makes you twice as old as most of the people on imgflip, frankly.

People have always been angry but they get angrier when pressure is put on them. 40yrs of stagnant wages tends to do that.

I think you're both right in your own ways. Trumpism as the unifying face of the different elements of his coalition is imploding and is unlikely to ever come back - I doubt even Republicans would re-nominate him in 2024 or beyond.

But the individual elements that made up his space - from the GamerGates to the neo-Confederates and all points in between - they haven't learned a damn thing in any of this and of course they're still going to be active troublemakers.

I do think it's good that one of the big takeaways from this is that Facebook and Twitter have realized they have more responsibilities than they thought they did - freeze peach doesn't obligate them to host a platform for these assholes, and they've paid a heavy price for thinking that it did.

I don't think free speech was the problem - it was the free megaphone.

Europe's anti-hate speech laws have sometimes been useful and sometimes not, but it hasn't made them any more immune from having extremism on the right-wing same as us.

Has it, though? Five years ago, even things like the chat windows of online metronomes - and it doesn't get any less political than a metronome - were flooded with right-wing rhetoric from Europe about immigrants and junk.

I'm afraid it is the left that hasn't learned. You called him the worst president and attacked him daily on every medium to anyone that would listen and he still got 48 percent of the vote and quite frankly a huge amount of votes. The only reason he lost was the constant droning of you must vote by all the mediums embraced by the braindead.

Keep pretending that was a huge victory. Keep pretending the left hasn't made half the country sick enough to vote for him. Keep pretending to be the good guys instead of one side of a rotten coin. Keep worrying about those bugaboos and bugbear in your head.

He WAS the worst president we've ever had. Easily.

It's done now. Go find a rebrand for your politics or something. Or don't. Couldn't care less.

Maybe you are 12 but no he's not the worse president ever, nor in my lifetime. GW was way worse. Wilson was way worse. Worse things even happened during the Lincoln administration but again you have the mindset of a toddler so only what you see right now exists. Keep acting like I voted for the guy to escape criticism of your moronic tribalism.

Always grifting: If a Trump donor gave $500, for instance, $300 would go to Trump’s Save America PAC, $200 would to the RNC - and nothing would go to his election defense fund.

Yet he keeps getting donations anyway.

Yeah, he was/is a pretty bad Prez.

The first daily briefing Biden gets his hands on, will be the day Biden knows more about what's going on than Trump. Why? Because Biden actually reads.
