I have never worked as a pollster so I'm not sure what part of their job requires them to write anything. To give them the benefit of the doubt maybe they need to sign off on certain paperwork as part of the process. I'm going to look into this. Good observation!
I don’t know either, but I thought a lot of this had automated ballot tabulation, and somebody needs to check the signatures. At the very least, there shouldn’t be a potential bias being displayed by the workers. That alone certainly causes alarm.
