As an outsider (i'm in the UK) whose politics were heavily left-leaning until 2016, my big take-away from the last four years is that the President of the USA is not as powerful an office as I'd always believed

When could they ever?

whether they get held accountable is minor compared to that credibility gap it created within our institutions.

Lock em Up, Hang them High and then Shut them Both down.
