I'd like to apologize though, your opinion is your opinion and I just have one different than yours...even though I still don't think k-pop can possibly be THAT bad, it's not like ear-rape or something. I've seen worse, trust me. But I guess it's my dumb teenage hormones, I'm about to turn 13 in a week. For real though, I guess I made it a bigger deal than I should've. I don’t completely understand it but there’s one Kpop song I like called promise but only because it’s from my favorite show which happens to be from Korea

Because all you had was typical Korean pop music, as usual in Asia choppy syllables and not very melodic. Mostly simple pentatonic singsong. Then some Westerner producers came over and took melodic vocal lines and put Korean lyrics over top, just like with JPop. Even the music videos imitate boyband and hiphop vidz. The boyband/girlband fad is over in USA but it works well in Asia because culturally everything is done in a group.
