When it comes to immigration, my priority is less keeping people out and more ensuring that those already here have justice, fair wages, and livable lives

However tbh the immigration issue is not high on my list of things I care much about. That would be in no particular order: Covid, the economy, climate change, the Supreme Court, and the Trump Administration's ongoing racism and pointed affronts to justice and decency.

It’s not off topic at all. It’s well-known to people who deal with these issues that illegal immigrants in particular are grossly abusive of our forests and public parks, littering, causing wildfires, using public lands to farm drugs.

If you want to protect our wildlife and it’s habitat, you should oppose illegal immigration. Unless, of course, you don’t actually give a shit about those things and just use them as a stick to beat up your political opponents.

I won’t waste my time with your nonsense other than to state that the Trump Administration’s watering down of environmental protections — as well as the consumptive habits of billionaires, such as unnecessary private jet and yacht trips — combined cause orders of magnitude more environmental devastation than the illegal immigrants of which you speak could ever dream of

If they’re voting for Biden and better yet contributing to his campaign and down-ballot Democrats, good for them. The Democratic Party is a big tent in this regard, particularly since Sanders was defeated.

However, they’d unquestionably be paying higher taxes and getting more stringent emissions regulations under a Democratic Administration.

Many industries are taking these eco-friendly steps voluntarily anyway for the good publicity, so it may not bother them.

But there are sure plenty of billionaires who kick and scream and vote and donate to Trump anyway. They may be regretting their “investment” come Nov. 3, though.
