The difference is that public power (is it safe to infer you mean electrical power, not political power?) isn't govt takeover by a single party, like we have here in Corruptifornia, and like AOC and Bernie want to do at a federal level.

Social security is actually closer to socialism, hell it even has social in it, just like socialism. It is alike in the sense that all its money and power resides with the govt, and the people get monthly peanuts, just like they do under socialism.

Can you also explain to me how those last three help "all the people?"

I'm not saying I'm against any of these things, but instead that your meme, dug up from good ol' Harry Truman (who btw would absolutely not recognize the democrat party of today) isn't particularly relevant today, given the wild and severe turn to the left that your party is currently taking, full speed ahead.
