See, the person misrepresenting things here is you. Ice Cube isn't "working together" with Trump - both campaigns contacted him about his "Contract With Black America", he spoke to both campaigns about what it was, and both campaigns implemented small changes to their platforms in response to his recommendations.

Ice Cube still gave input on a plan made by Trump, and CNN still cancelled him for that.

What happened was that he spoke with Trump's administration when they asked him about what they could do to help African-Americans... and actually implemented some of his suggestions. Shortly after this CNN cancelled a planned interview with him, until they restored it after significant backlash.
