The data on a computer is usually much more valuable than the hardware. If you don't have it backed up ( and Hunter is not known for thinking ahead) it would make sense to take it in and try to get the data off.

I really hope at some point in time Hunter finds a treatment program that works for him, and helps him heal his life. I am sure that being in a crime family is not helping him.
