I don't sneeze/cough on people or spit on them when I talk. So that helps. Covid is .14 to about .33 microns wide. Super small. The holes in the cloth masks are pretty big compared to that.
I'm not arguing the cloth masks probably help a tiny bit. If you wash your mask after each use, or use disposable ones, wash your hands, STILL cover your nose/mouth when you sneeze, sanitize surfaces, and physically distance. By the time you've done ALL OF THAT, a cloth mask is stupid to MANDATE and SHAME people for not wearing one. And, since science isn't exactly sure how it spreads (surfaces, dirty hands, through the air)... how people are becoming actually infected. It's all theory. So the mandating and shaming should stop. That's all. Wear a mask if you want to.
I'm pretty sure it's just a stupid ploy for Dems to scare more votes out of the weak and easily shamed.
