An N95 mask, or just a plain old cloth mask... I can understand mandating a scientifically valid mask, but cloths masks are pointless. Coronavirus passing through the spaces in a cloth mask is akin to rats running down a freeway.

guess what? they wear a mask and save lives and you don't. so you may be able to correct grammar but that doesn't compare to saving a life. focus on the important things.

Have you done any research? A cloth mask is meant to trap droplets that are released when the wearer sneezes, talks or coughs. Asking everyone to wear cloth masks can help reduce the spread of the virus by people who have COVID-19 but don't realize it. It takes about 14 days for symptoms to set in, so wearing a mask and practicing social distancing literally saved lives. If someone is sick(normal cold, not just COVID) and for any reason needs to go outdoors, a N95 mask is most appropriate.

I don't sneeze/cough on people or spit on them when I talk. So that helps. Covid is .14 to about .33 microns wide. Super small. The holes in the cloth masks are pretty big compared to that.

I'm not arguing the cloth masks probably help a tiny bit. If you wash your mask after each use, or use disposable ones, wash your hands, STILL cover your nose/mouth when you sneeze, sanitize surfaces, and physically distance. By the time you've done ALL OF THAT, a cloth mask is stupid to MANDATE and SHAME people for not wearing one. And, since science isn't exactly sure how it spreads (surfaces, dirty hands, through the air)... how people are becoming actually infected. It's all theory. So the mandating and shaming should stop. That's all. Wear a mask if you want to.

You may be right. But for the greater good it's good to wear one. It does limit the spread. No, that does NOT mean that wearing a mask makes you immune but it certainlly does help. What's the harm? It doesn't limit oxygen levels. If it makes it hard to breathe, that's because the brain goes into fight or flight sometimes with a mask. In fof mode, you breathe out of your mouth way more and the fabric makes that uncomfortable. When that happens, take breathes out of your nose and it will go away. It's not all about politics.

Thanks. I could be more clear. Shaming people has to stop, on both sides of the aisle. That’s all. I think the mask thing is a stupid thing to shame people about on EITHER SIDE. Especially since our positivity rate for tests, in many states, is in the “green” zone below 5% (there’s even states that have 0%), it frustrates me to see the shaming and mandating continue, regardless of the status of the virus. It’s like science matters, until it doesn’t. It doesn’t have to be political. But it seems like the Marxist propagandists are hell bent on dividing us as every level right now. Just add mask shaming to the pile of “latent hostilities” that are being “rubbed raw”.

Yes, they have immune systems but not being able to afford to go to the hospital may be the end for them. Don't focus on one old billionaire, focus on the grand scheme of things.
