If the number is true (questionable)
I need to know the name of his account

The number isn’t questionable. It’s confirmed off his own income taxes. He’s bragged in the past about not paying income taxes (during the 2016 debates).

Unless I'm reading it wrong, Nyt said trump paid 4.2 million in 2017 in their own article

Ah, you’re relying on a random on Twitter. Not even a blue check next to the name passed through a website in the island state of Niue.

Ask me where Niule is...China!

Nice job, dum-dum.

You believe a blue check mark is a sign someone is speaking the truth? Wow. The brainwashers must have spent extra time on you.

Hey imbecile, just go to the article yourself. JUST GO READ THE NYT ARTICLE YOURSELF.

The link literally goes to nyt article screenshots where nyt specifically says that he paid millions to the treasury.

Doesn't matter who/where/when, it's literally pointing to sentences in the article you're using as a source.

Among the key findings of The Times’s investigation:

—Mr. Trump paid no federal income taxes in 11 of 18 years that The Times examined. In 2017, after he became president, his tax bill was only $750.

—He has reduced his tax bill with questionable measures, including a $72.9 million tax refund that is the subject of an audit by the Internal Revenue Service.

—Many of his signature businesses, including his golf courses, report losing large amounts of money — losses that have helped him to lower his taxes.

—The financial pressure on him is increasing as hundreds of millions of dollars in loans he personally guaranteed are soon coming due.

—Even while declaring losses, he has managed to enjoy a lavish lifestyle by taking tax deductions on what most people would consider personal expenses, including residences, aircraft and $70,000 in hairstyling for television.

—Ivanka Trump, while working as an employee of the Trump Organization, appears to have received “consulting fees” that also helped reduce the family’s tax bill.

—As president, he has received more money from foreign sources and U.S. interest groups than previously known. The records do not reveal any previously unreported connections to Russia.

So, no, you’re reading those three sentences wrong.

Here’s the unabridged quote, dipwad:

“Each time, he requested an extension to file his 1040; and each time, he made the required payment to the I.R.S. for income taxes he might owe — $1 million for 2016 and $4.2 million for 2017. But virtually all of that liability was washed away when he eventually filed, and most of the payments were rolled forward to cover potential taxes in future years.

To cancel out the tax bills, Mr. Trump made use of $9.7 million in business investment credits, at least some of which related to his renovation of the Old Post Office hotel, which qualified for a historic-preservation tax break. Although he had more than enough credits to owe no taxes at all, his accountants appear to have carved out an allowance for a small tax liability for both 2016 and 2017.

When they got to line 56, the one for income taxes due, the amount was the same each year: $750.”

So quit trying to piss down everyone’s backs and tell them it’s raining. Trump paid $750 each year of 2016 and 2017 in personal income tax.

Now go get bent.

I'm not seeing the point? He paid what they said he might owe, then it turned out he didn't owe it so they put it toward future taxes which resulted in not having to pay taxes for a few years and then $750 for a few years. Nothing illegal there. What are the leftists trying to say?

Donald Trump is a dirt poor welfare queen living off the taxpayers teat, all the while cruising on a reputation of an unimpeachable businessman who’s somehow lost $50 million a year for years. He’s probably also a tax cheat who has a half-billion dollars in *personally guaranteed* loans (to unknown creditors) due over the next four years with no possible way of repaying it, which, as President, inherently makes him a national security threat.

I’m sure I’ve left some things out, but I’m sure you get the gist.

The entire NYT article exposing Donald Trump’s tax returns for starters.

Oh, is that fake news? He should release his tax returns like every President since Nixon has. Then he could sue the Times for slander...and we all know how Don the Con loves to sue.

Oh, he can’t release his returns because he’s been under audit for the last decade? Maybe it has something to do with the $73 million refund he got under possibly fraudulent terms and it may cost him $100 million in penalties to pay back. And “routine audits” don’t last decades, just sayin...

No matter how much you defend your daddy, he will never, ever love you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Its from an anonymous source and the NYT has lied often before. If you want me to believe them you'll have to provide the source.

Assuming for a moment they are honest and actually got a hold of his tax returns, what they actually say is he paid in the requested amount for taxes and then applied a ton of tax credits for his businesses. The IRS kept the money but applied it to his future tax filings, which is why he didn't pay taxes for several years.

The audit thing may or may not be something legit against Trump, but the facts are its an audit and not a criminal case. Until we hear otherwise I'm going to err on the side of not trusting the NYT because "known liars" and all that.

I don't care if Trump loves me or not. At this point I don't care if he cheated on his taxes 10 years ago or whatever. He's still miles better than what the dems are offering.

I mean you could have put Tulsi Gabbard up there and got the middle dem and independent vote, but you had to put Biden up there. He literally stands no chance in an honest election.

Where it says the business tax credits washed away what he *might* have owed.

Reading is fundamental.
