The polls in ‘16 were not as wrong as conservatives think. In fact, they were within the margin of error. FiveThirtyEight (the pollster I get this graph from) predicted Trump had a 33% chance of winning in ‘16. So the fact he did actually win isn’t unusual for an event that you’d expect to happen 1 in 3 times.

Pollsters have also adapted their methodology to fix any issues in undercounting Trump supporters last time: Or they should have.

The pandemic is the big intangible that no one knows how is going to affect turnout on various demographic groups.

But no, I don’t think the ‘16 result supplies a reason to distrust polls forever and always.

Pollsters for CNN, NBC, ABC, PBS, & NYT -- are you ready for this?

They poll more Democrats than Republicans - then filter and weed through results to get a "polling".

The end result is skewed misinformation that supports Democrats being ahead.

Lets look at Twitter followers to determine Presidency. Past 3 elections? The higher counted Twitter followers Candidate won each time too.

Trump had a roughly 2-3 million Twitter follower base to Clinton. Barely won.

O'Bama had Romney & McCain's numbers combined beat by a still 4/1 count.

Trump? 85Mil followers. Biden? 7.1 mil followers. Landslide for Trump.

I trust the Poll of driving across the country & seeing signs.

I went to Virginia. Passed through PA, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and a good amount of Ohio.

I saw roughly 125 Trump signs & maybe 40 Biden signs. I saw 25 signs for Corn & 3 Sheetz Billboards.

Corn has almost the same chance as Biden right now.

The silent majority is what made Trump win - when your poll source said it was 33%.
