True. I want a separate investigation. I want to know what exactly happened. Even with all the conspiracy theories, I doubt it is an inside job. No person would let 3,000 people die and inflict heavy weight on th me economic center of one's country.

It's all very sad. I saw some of the terrorists were supposed to have their trial next year. Hopefully more info will come out then. Even then, it has been way too long to get the info out.

Are you aware of the prior attempts to bring down the towers?
In the earlier attempts the FBI caught wind of the parties involved then turned the ringleader. They told the ringleader that they needed to follow through with plan until they had set explosives. So he followed those orders and that was the first time they tried to blow the towers up. Afterwards It came out in the court trials of the conspirators that the turned ringleader was told the bomb materials given to the accomplices was inert. But they had in fact supplied real explosives and allowed the bombs to be detonated.
Now if you go and confirm what I wrote for yourself then I guess you will probably need to reconsider the possibility that people within the government new something about or could have helped plan and execute the attacks which bought down the towers. How did these men who flew the planes onto the towers get into the country? Again there is evidence they had help with visas.

I think there was the FBI field guy who informed months before the event about groups of men taking flight training to his superiors who then proceeded to do nothing with the information. He left over it and scored the position as head of security at world trade center and it was his first day at work when the planes hit, that coincidence is amazing. Plus other failures of communication betwen agencies.

So yes the why? It can't be just negligence by so many at the top but either a willingness to allow it happen or a complicity/conspiracy in the event. I doubt bush new anything much prior to the event but he would have been keyed in on things once the situation was rolling and he was the one who put forth everything that went on after it.Interestingly Bush's actions followed the events required and described in a book released a few yearts prior to the 911 attack.
The book is called The Grand Chessboard and it lays out almost exactly the events that led up to 911 and the events after the event. It was released in 1998 by Zbigniew Brezinski, Mika's father (the blonde woman on NBC? morning joe). If this book doesn't also suggest it was planned from within then I don't know what else can. It's virtually the timetable of events and it describes the attack required as a "New Pearl Harbour Event".

No. There was knowledge of the event prior. No one did anything about it. Information wasn't passed and the public never saw it coming.

I'm not saying I disagree with you loklare, but there are some things that should not be declassified.

Well there are anomolies such as certain important people being told not to fly that day like the mayor and all of the CEOs in the building being offsite at a military base, and finding pristine passports in the rubble from the hijackers despite the massive fire and melting of the main support beam.
How did it fall into its footprint? Why did building 7 go down at all? Why was the fire chief recorded on the news saying "Get back we are going to pull the building" which is a demolition term.
Why was thermite found in the wreckage? How come the buildings fell at freefall speeds despite physics saying they can't.
Then of course there's the fact a general came out and admitted to training the terrorists at a US military base. Many law enforcement agencies had them on watch lists, yet they were still able to get on planes. People on the phones with the passengers of the 4th flight that crashed say it went down completely differently than the official story.
Firefighters and other rescue workers that were on the scene before the building fell heard explosions and then were threatened to keep quiet about it by FBI (who we now know are completely courrupt). Several of them turned up dead later. How many people on the 9/11 commission had conflicts of interest.
How the entire nation forgot about billions of dollars of misappropriated funds whose records were stored in the pentagon and backed up in building 7 computers.
etc...etc... just a lot of unanswered questions.

Which is why there should be an investigation. Peace has to be brought on the hurting people.
