More than that, what was world war 2 if not a government spending program and with the GI bill we had a record high in technical training in the American workforce.

The 1950's is proof that government spending and free higher education drives economic growth.

SoCiALiZm!!!!

Indeed. Some conservatives do concede the benefits of things like the GI bill but it should also be remembered these programs helped white Americans disproportionately. And are probably more fondly remembered as a result 🤷‍♂️

But yeah. Better education for any group = more growth

Better education for all groups = best

Cringing at the conservative myth that all racial progress that could have been achieved was in fact achieved in ‘64. | image tagged in racism, racists, conservative logic, civil rights, equality, equal rights | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Similarly it may surprise you to learn that the work of racial equality wasn’t fixed at the drop of a hat decades ago but instead continues to this day.

In many ways, blacks don’t have access to the same job or educational opportunities and this depresses the economy as well.

I wasn’t aware racism and sexism was fixed six decades ago.

What’s all the hubbub then?

Note for legal purposes this is sarcasm and I don't actually believe this: apply tourniquets to your arms and legs so they all need to be amputated. Then please get a job of some kind. And the problem is they can't make money legally since they don't have jobs that pay a living wage so they have to use crime.

Female labor force participation has risen steadily over decades. We’re not just talking Rosie the Riveter, lol. All segments of the economy.

Meanwhile many of them were also receiving education that previous generations of women did not.

All of this equaled more workers (many more workers), and more productive workers.

I am afraid your argument is based in stereotypes not reality.

So the fact that Trump had an economy where more blacks and women were working is lost on you I guess. Lowest unemployment for each under Trump! Trump 2020! BooYah!

Lowest unemployment percentage doesn’t really matter if the jobs created that count towards the overall number are minimum wage jobs...you know, the kind you can’t live on, much less support a family. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yep. McJobs are little benefit to the economy.

Much is obscured by this one word

Trump may have cruised to victory in 2020 despite his other glaring failures if he still had this

Now that looks doubtful

Trump also inherited an economy that had 2.4% growth with Obama. He’s only managed 2.5% in the meantime (pre-pandemic) despite promising 4%. I guess that’s another “promise made, promise kept”?
