Kamala Harris literally said to Biden "I do NOT believe you are a racist".

She did point out problematic things he has said/done but..... that isn't really the same as calling him a racist. And I think this makes her a good addition to the team. Additional perspective is something you might not get if you surround yourself with yes men.

That may be true, but do you really want someone who can't remember what they had for breakfast as president? Aaa t least trump has been pres for 4 years. Trump isn't as bad as everyone says. The media wants you to think trump is bad, when in reality, he's our only hope for the country right now.

"Can't remember breakfast"...
figuratively or.. is there video of that somewhere? If so what were the circumstances?

I think you could randomly pick anyone in America and there is a decent chance they'd be a better human and president than the donald. The misinformation he propagates regarding coronavirus borders on treason and he has the nerve to talk about fake news.

"at least trump has been president for 4 years..he is our only hope right now"

This is exactly what I don't get about their campaign. They're acting like we need to re-elect him to save America. If trump could (allegedly) save us from the current state of affairs..........why is he waiting until November to do so?

biden forgets where he is, & forgot the first sentence of the DOI. He once had a conversation w/ someone about a dead woman, & it was clear that 30 seconds later he'd forgotten she was dead. There are videos of this kind of stuff on youtube.

I have seen comedians say the wrong location in their opening act and subsequently bomb afterward. It happens.

I'd just about bet money that millions of Americans don't remember the first sentence of the DOI.

I couldn't find the dead wife video but I would assume that was his wife. Idk

Trump once said “Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is getting recognized more and more, I notice"....

Ya I noticed that too.. said no one.
1 up, 4y,

yea ik. but biden didn't even know where he was & didn't remember when someone told him he was wrong about it.

that is true, but the DOI & constitution r things u should at least know a bit of if u want 2 b in the government. if presidents start opposing the constitution (which obama regularly did, not just once) then that's not rlly good 4 the us.

it wasn't his wife. it was someone ppl were bringing up in a conversation for some reason. idk why.

the frederick douglass thing can b interpreted in different ways. 4 example, many black ppl don't understand the type of person he was. kaepernick quoted him once 2 prove a point, using the fallacy of clarity & using things wildly out of context 2 make it seem like he was an angry black man like many ppl 2day. however, once i read the whole context of the thing, it had nothing 2 do w/ what kaepernick had said it meant. yes, douglass has always been famous, but hopefully modern ppl will grow 2 understand who he truly was.
1 up, 4y
Seems many of donald's quotes can be interpreted in differing ways.. seems when they aren't BS, they lack clarity to say the least.. bags of soup, covfefe, look what happened last night in Sweden, etc..

If he has any in-depth knowledge of Douglass he sure did a poor job at demonstrating that. I mean it's good that he went through the motions.. but his comments in context appear to be nothing more than surface level name-dropping that he read off a sheet of paper.

I agree that you should know a bit about the constitution & DOI to be in government. It might be interesting to give Trump and Biden a test on both. But regardless of how they might stack up, knowledge of either one a has no bearing on a president trying to take actions which oppose it. Banning Muslims for example..

I was unable to find a video of Biden forgetting a woman died so idk.. it's possible though. Maybe ol' Joe will get elected and be an absolute public speaking distaster.. which will make it the last time the dems pick an old geezer as their candidate. ;P or maybe he'll remain "in the basement" as they say.. which I think would be great. Give America a chance to calm down with arguing over hourly presidential tweets and comments. Maybe stop being so divided.. idk. It's a good dream anyway.

Sources for fake coronavirus info from Trump?
2 ups, 4y,

Your question answers itself. His own mouth and Twitter feed. The most recent one that comes to mind being his Q anon retweet which claimed "the CDC quietly updated the Covid number to admit that only 6% of the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from Covid" .. it got removed by Twitter for being fake news but.. surprise.. the "information" contained in that tweet managed to find its way to imgflip politics.

But wow.. I just heard audio recording which has surfaced of Trump in early February saying coronavirus is deadly and WORSE THAN THE FLU... if only he had said that to the American public at the time!! maybe we wouldn't be so divided.. maybe we would've taken this more seriously since the beginning... Maybe we wouldn't be approaching 200,000 deaths.. And maybe I wouldn't have spent however many hours arguing with y'all on here about it!

Search the page for "6%".

Sources for your 2nd claim?

We aren't approaching 200,000 deaths its closer to 9,000.

Sorry but writing off 180,000 Americans who died a month after catching covid because they had diabetes for 30 years is irrational to say the least.. I don't know where you're from but America is not healthy. 2/3 of our population is either obese or overweight and millions have diabetes, hypertension, etc.. We have health issues. So focusing solely on people who died with no other health factors is like being willfully blind.

As I said.. from his own mouth.

https://youtu.be/IPoFf78XHQo

Misleading the American public about a deadly disease borders on treason as far as I'm concerned. His statement about "I could stand in the middle of 5th avenue and shoot someone and not lose any voters" has never seemed more relevant...... I guess we'll see if it's true come November.

The rather uninflected language, hours onsite, as well as the absence of perspective typical of someone who has ever been in the US indicate a home somewhere on the other side of the Atlantic.

As for the rest, might as well add simply being alive to those shared 'risk factors,' as yes, one would be hard pressed to find someone not having an item or so on that list of common afflictions that can lessen the chance of being immune to the possible effects of Covid should they catch it.
1 up, 4y
Maybe but idk.. might be just wishful thinking on my part. I don't want to believe that people still banging the "coronavirus is essentially a nothingburger" drum at this stage of the game are fellow Americans. But at the same time, I'd almost bet money that despite trump himself being on tape stating the opposite, there will still be American trump supporters who continue to say otherwise.

Ah yes, being alive. Definitely a terminal condition. I guess it's a question of when... and also is spending your time exercising and not eating pizza in an effort to push the inevitable a little bit further away worth it?
;P

It's cognitive bias so ingrained that even when offered correction (intentionally or unintentionally) by the very source that framed their perspective they still can't remove their fake logic from the lie.

Saw some ranting today from a memer who is of an age bracket that would know more than his fair share of those who've fallen to the disease, yet the only effect that reality has had on him is to have set him in perpetual triggered mode, attacking any and all that would dare question his cult leader even as his own personally beloved succumb to the disease.

You are literally arguing with the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm#Comorbidities
"For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death."
So only about 9,000 people died of covid. Everyone else died of other things and tested positive for covid. They had on average 2-3 things other than covid that killed them. How can you not understand the hoax now?
0 ups, 4y
"Sepsis
Renal Failure
Heart Failure
Cardiac Arrest
Cardiac Arrhythmia
Pneumonia
Respiratory failure
A.R.D.S.

Covid-19 can actually cause all of these things.... and yet you automatically write off deaths which include them."

No, Covid-19 is a corona virus which is the common cold. It can only cause those things in severly sick and malnourished individuals that lack Vitamin D (another study proved that everyone that died in the study died with a lack of Vitamin D), it can't cause any of the other things in healthy people.
Please study up on how Corona virus works and related side effects.

I'm literally not arguing with the CDC.. I'm arguing with your interpretation of their data.

"For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned..... So only about 9,000 people died of covid... Everyone else died of other things and tested positive for covid."

Let's look at some those other things mentioned among the 94%...

Sepsis
Renal Failure
Heart Failure
Cardiac Arrest
Cardiac Arrhythmia
Pneumonia
Respiratory failure
A.R.D.S.

Covid-19 can actually cause all of these things.... and yet you automatically write off deaths which include them.

200,000 excess deaths this year is no hoax nor is it a coincidence.

"she called him one b4."
When? I have been unable to find any instance of her ever actually calling him a racist.

The closest thing I found was where she brought up problematic things he has done during the primary debates.. but again.. that was prefaced by her explicitly stating that she does not think he is a racist.

Looks like Shapiro actually made that claim literally 1 day after Kamala Harris was nominated for VP.

...which means Kamala theoretically would've had to call him a racist immediately after being nominated by him.

But sure, I'll ask Ben Shapiro about it next time we hang out.

No, you heard me all wrong. First she called him a racist during the democratic debates, then she was chosen for VP. After the selection, she was asked about it on an interview, she said he’s not a racist. The clip from the interview was shown on the Ben Shapiro show and that’s when I saw it.

Ok.
So it sounds like you definitely watched an interview after she was nominated for VP in which she claimed Biden is not a racist.

I am not sure if you actually watched the debate footage that Shapiro's claim is based on though.

https://youtu.be/4Xb8b8KRrLg

It would appear Kamala Harris said Biden is not a racist both before and after being picked for VP... which is probably why I was confused by what you said.

K.. you're either trolling me, you're reading comprehension is lacking, or you're on drugs. Idk which it is but this conversation is annoying.

Kamala Harris has NEVER called Biden a racist. She said Biden is NOT a racist. She said he is NOT a racist both before & after being nominated as VP.
