Let's talk epistemology: Over 90% of the things you "know," you only know because someone else told you. Have you ever stopped to wonder about the people who are telling you those things? How do you know they're honest? If honest, how do you know they're competent and informed? Would they have any reasons to lie to you? If so, what direction would those lies most likely be in?
