Newsmax. Now there’s a deep dive. Haven’t seen their content in years, but it came to me making this meme.

I actually remember receiving Newsmax digest emails in my inbox maybe 10 years or more ago, and kept getting them for way too long because I got on some Republican list and I’m a lazy ass when it comes to unsubscribing to such things.

I guess Newsmax was kind of a forerunner of Breitbart in some ways. Entertaining the conservative gullible with selectively presented and exaggerated news stories and opinion columns with tenuous connections to reality at best.

Not sure if they’ve morphed into an outright conspiracy theory stable like InfoWars, nor do I really care to find out.

I wasn't surprised. Horrified, but neither shocked nor surprised. All my liberal friends were surprised.

Many of them still are, four years later.

Besides, trump supporters are the ones planning to cast multiple ballots, just like he told them to.

At least they're redoing it, like after the Republican election fraud in North Carolina.

At least main in ballots have a paper trail. Most electronic voting machines are easily hacked.

In person hacks have been demonstrated to be entry level cake at Defcon.

Well, actually. That's all true. It came out in 08, during his campaign with Obama.

Biden did receive 5 deferments and was disqualified due to asthma. And he was a wide receiver in High School. He also played college ball with the Deleware Blue Hens.

Not because he was so fast, but because he stuttered. They were mocking his stutter.

But to the asthma deferments and playing football. As someone who was in the Army, I can assure you that the Army takes asthma very seriously. When I was in basic, someone had an asthma attack. He'd lied about not having it. He was gone the next day.

You see, unlike football, if you have an asthma attack you can't go sit down on the bench and take some meds. You have to keep going. And could very likely be in a situation where you don't have access to your meds at all. And now your platoon has to drag your ass along with them.

So, yeah, it's very possible to be an athlete in high school and college sports AND still be disqualified for military service because you have asthma.
