Singer, song writer & musician.
He’s most famously known for his hit St. Elon’s fire (from the film of the same name).
He also written for Meatloaf & other famous artists.
I met him whilst I was a volunteer for an armed forces charity & he had come to our shop where as he put it “I’m just here to sing a few songs & help out”.
He stayed all day played acoustically and Sang his own songs as well as covers of songs by other famous artists , was good humoured and kind & the only thing he asked for all day was “a good cup of Yorkshire tea”.
He even left the shop With a box of his new charity album cds’ and said “just sell them for whatever people think is a reasonable donation for them”.
A down to earth multimillionaire.
