Of course they do, unless they resist arrest and die of an OD.

Psssst . . . the entire reason that rioting occurred for the first time in this nation at the three and a half years mark in Trump's presidency is because radical leftists really wanted to lynch a police officer rather than trust in the slow process of the justice department to perform its duties. So leftists . . . counsel thyselves.

We've seen cop after cop after cop after cop get put on paid leave - paid not to work - while the justice department makes the careful calculation NOT to start its slow process at all.

So I'm calling bullf**kingshit on you here.

We've also seen a black man die of fentanyl overdose in police custody being called deliberate murder and used as an excuse to destroy our country.

Yeah, because even by your version of events, the cop was pinning a dying man to the ground by the neck instead of getting him medical attention. That's misconduct. The police are not being held accountable for their actions in part because of people like you who make up really terrible excuses for them.

Just curious, do you know why Floyd was on the ground?
2 ups, 4y
To this marxist, deescalation would be to let him drive away, wacked out on drugs. Apologizing until he vanished from view.

Because the police weren't properly trained in deescalation.

Wrong. Because after violently resisting being put into the squad car, that was where Floyd *asked* to be. He asked them to put him on the ground. It's on the bodycam videos.

I get it. You're retarded so you think that proves what I said wrong. You have no capacity for actual thought. All you have is emotional reactions.

It DOES prove what you said wrong. That's not the face of a man who is where he asked to be.

No criminal WANTS to be under arrest in any conditions, you dumbass.

They called for medical attention. They were waiting on medics. Medical assistance is not their job. They did their job.

Now, of course, if Floyd had not been consuming illegal drugs in the first place, he would never have been overdosing. I guess that's somehow white people's fault also.

The sixth ammendment contains no exceptions for people who took drugs. It's not there. The US Constitution does not suspend due process for people who have taken drugs. In fact, the entire spirit of the sixth ammendment is to require that the police prove in court that they were intoxicated if that is relevant to their crime, not that the police arbitrarily identify people who they claim are high so that they can execute them on the street.

This is a complete non-sequitur. It has nothing at all to do with the events of that day. Please try to say something relevant.

YOU commented on MY post about exactly this! You don't get to call this a non-sequitur.

Man commits crime.
Police come to arrest man.
Man resists arrest.
Man has consumed lethal quantities of fentanyl (although police do not know this).
Police restrain man.
Police notice man appears to be in medical distress.
Police call for emergency medical assistance.
EMS does not arrive in time.
Man dies.

At what point in this series of events, you drooling imbecile, are someone's Sixth Amendment rights denied?

This part.

Right, he was restraining an unpredictable, potentially dangerous criminal with a violent record. He was using a method which has been used over 200 times in the past couple of decades in that area with ZERO fatalities. That has NEVER suffocated someone. Fentanyl overdose, on the other hand, causes respiratory distress.

You are a moron.

Sure I can. The Sixth Amendment has exactly nothing to do with what happened there that day. It's irrelevant. And you're an idiot incapable of actual thought.
