It’s ok but do NOT do it in future. I think you can make good jokes and memes if you really want upvotes. Dont upvote beg with that stuff. If you pour your heart and soul into a good meme, you will receive plenty of upvotes. I am sure of it.

I'm not opposed to it either - people value what they value.  Maybe some of those up vote beggers - for them, an Up vote is the only positivity they see.

Then they don't belong on this site. Upvotes should be an incentive to make quality images and funny jokes, but right now much of the site incentivises putting in next to zero effort as long as you say the right buzzwords. This objectively hurts the website as a whole for the sake of a few arbitrary numbers going up on someone's profile, which provide a one second dopamine rush.

Yes, this is targeted bullying, It doesnt matter whether hes a upvote beggar, or not, or if you disagree with him or not. Do not shame him publicly. Even if his name isnt up, we all practically know who this is.

You shaming people and subjecting to bullying is not the way to making Imgflip better. It is making it more toxic and causing fear and violence. There are other ways that are more positive and will actually make people want change in Imgflip
